Yes!
Midwives are trained for well-woman care. Midwives can act as your primary care provider if you are a generally healthy person. They can prescribe medications, and order and interpret labs and ultrasounds.

Yes!
Our midwives have privileges at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY, Nyack Hospital in Nyack, NY, and Pascack Valley Hospital in Westwood, NJ. Most deliveries will be at the Birth Center, however, if complications arise, urgent or nonurgent, we will be able to provide care at one of these hospitals.

Yes!
We work very closely with Dr. Victor Rosenberg, MD, MFM and Dr. Craig Wiener, MD, FACOG, who are available to consult should the need arise. We also have an established relationship with Westchester Medical Center’s perinatal department, and coordinate referrals for more complex maternity or gynecological care.

We offer several pain relief options including hydrotherapy and nitrous oxide (also known as laughing gas). We encourage preparation through childbirth education, and support from your spouse, family, doula, and of course your midwife and birth assistant will be there to support you as well.

Yes!
We have staff members that speak Hebrew, Yiddish, French, and Spanish. If one of our staff members that speaks your language is not present during your visit, we have an interpreting service available for use that offers over 240 languages, including ASL!
